Approach: We developed the narrative and questions, then filmed close to the action in a documentary style – prioritising real moments over staged scenes.
Impact: A strong employer-brand asset that reveals what kitchen life is really like, with versions that work across recruitment and social channels.
Urban Pubs & Bars commissioned a series of short films designed to capture what itās really like to work across their venuesātelling the brand story through the people behind the experience. The Back of House edition focuses on the kitchen: the pace, the standards, and the craft that sits behind every plate served.
We led the project end-to-end, from concept and question development through to production and final edits. Shot in a fly-on-the-wall style and filmed tight to the action, the piece gives an authentic view of kitchen life – highlighting the energy of service and the pride in producing great food – supporting Urbanās recruitment and wider brand storytelling, with cutdowns tailored for socials.
