Black History Month: Lived Experience Series | GVC
Long-form conversation film for GVC’s Black History Month campaign, sharing Black British colleagues’ stories, inspiration and reflections with authenticity.
Challenge: Create Black History Month content that feels meaningful and respectful – centred on lived experience, not corporate messaging.
Approach: We filmed intimate 1-to-1 conversations, letting colleagues speak in their own words with a calm, documentary-style approach.
Impact: A deeper, long-form internal piece that amplifies voices, supports inclusion, and gives the D&I campaign lasting value beyond October.
We supported the Diversity & Inclusion team at GVC (global owner of brands including Ladbrokes, Coral and Foxy Bingo) on a campaign to mark Black History Month. The objective was to create content that went beyond statements – giving space to real stories and perspectives from colleagues across the business.
We filmed a series of 1-to-1 conversations focused on lived experience: what it means to be Black British, sources of inspiration, and what Black History Month represents personally. Shot in a simple, documentary style, the result is a long-form film that feels honest and human – an internal asset that helps colleagues listen, learn and reflect, and a piece the organisation can return to long after the campaign ends.
